are we doublespeak ?

Do your work without expecting any returns. The scriptures say so - but its so difficult to follow. Had there being a level playing field - everyone believing the scriptures - things would have been different. but the majority would like to do only when there is a return. Can you ask a businessmen to forgo profit ? Businessmen are generally godfearing persons. But then why dont they listen to the scriptures ? Are the Scriptures not for them ? We generally say something and do something else. But we are not all doublespeak. Or are we ?

a leader's dilemma

you have been given a job to lead an organisation. you try it out to the best of your ability. you have several people working with you and you try to make friends. they behave well with you. but you come to know most of them are being good because you are their boss. everyone is ambitous and hardly anyone is genuine - at least in their feeling towards you. no matter how hard you try they cant be your friends. you will continue to do good for them - but dont expect anything in return. being a leader its your job to do good for them and the organisation. but be sure that they are all cursing you - at least finding faults in all that you do - behind your back. you know well that they wrote a letter to your boss when you joined that the institution can only be saved without you. that you are worthless. your boss was good enough to warn you and show you the letter. they are forced to accept you. is it a good feeling ?
